NO FIX NO FEE
This policy applies if we are unable to repair your pc either by being unable to locate the fault or if we are unable to locate the required parts from our suppliers. It does not apply if you simply reject the quote and do not want the unit repaired. If our quote is rejected you are responsible for all shipping fees of £50. We also reserve the right to requote if a mainboard turns out to be beyond economical repair. Please note that our no fix no fee policy does not apply to machines damaged by a spillage. You will be responsible for any costs incurred if your machines turns out to be damaged through a spillage
FREE NEXT DAY COLLECTION
This service is currently only available for the UK mainland and is not currently available in Northern Ireland. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. If laptops or PC's are not packaged to the standards described on our packaging guidelines page, then any damage occuring in transit is the responsibility of the customer.
RETURNING YOUR PC TO YOU
Laptops will only be returned once payment has been received. You may pay online via our paypal account or over the telephone using your credit card. If you have sent in your laptop and have rejected our quote and do not want to carry on with the repair then will will charge a £25 return shipping fee to cover costs, before we will return your unit. Units which do not have the return fee paid for within 6 weeks will become the property of DR Laptop and be disposed of.
QUOTE
When we quote for a laptop that doesnt power on we are quoting for a mainboard repair. We cannot verify whether other parts of the laptop are in a working order for example your battery might not hold a charge, your keyboard may have keys not working. This sometimes happens due to the nature of the fault i.e. a power surge could have occured which took other components with it before blowing a chip on the mainboard. When this occurs we will give you the option of the additional hardware at cost price.
DATA LOSS
We are not responsible for any data lost during repair. Please backup any data possible before sending the unit to us. If we need to change your hard drive or format your pc we will only do this after contacting you and requesting your permission, we will never delete any data unless you have given permission to do so
